Wow! This has been an amazing and crazy summer. In between recording sessions for our new album (due out this Fall, and I KNOW, we said ‘spring,’ then we said ‘summer… we’re late! Just think of this record like a really careful coloring job. You can’t rush these things!), we’ve been all over. In May, we played in Vancouver, B.C. Then, in June, we were off to Ann Arbor, MI for an amazing show at Summerfest. In July, Kevin tripped off to England and Scotland on tour with Seattle indie pop band Math and Physics Club, and now BAM! it’s almost back to school!

Throughout all that craziness, we have been making progress on our second album. We’re getting close… We can’t wait for you to hear it!

In the meantime, we have an amazing show this weekend: It’s called Tots-N-Tunes at Seattle Center! An amazing line up of Kindiependent bands and more. Check it out here:

Hey cool! We’ve been selected to perform at the Saturday Showcase at Kindiefest on April 30! Brooklyn, here we come!

After a few months in the secret, subterranean lab, we’ve emerged with a new full-length LP, coming your way this spring! Stay tuned!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Kindiependent “Share the Music” festival on Sunday November 7. What a huge event! We were so thrilled by all the great music and rockin’ kids! Look for more shows from the BoE and the rest of the Kindiependent gang this winter and spring.

We’re hopping on a plane and heading back to see our friends and fans in New York City this week. We’ve got three great shows lined up – the Brooklyn Public Library on Thursday the 10th, then 2 shows at the Bronx Zoo on Saturday the 12th. Stop by the Shows page for more details. See you soon, NYC!
